Chevron Chic
Over the weekend I saw the movie Snow White and the Huntsman. I noticed during the battle scenes the soldiers carried flags and banners that had Chevron prints on them. I began to investigate the origin and found some interesting facts. The prints consist of thick parallel zig zags. Chevron patterns have been found in early pottery and rock carvings dating back to 1800 B.C. and have been used throughout history in military uniforms and crests. According to
